Artist Statement
Flowers and Landscapes are explored for their
possibilities as well as their reality and serve as the beginning of my
creative process. I am interested in using shape, space, and color to
produce dynamic tension, and am sensitive to moods and rhythms and constant
movement. By using multiple layers of transparent pigment and personal
calligraphy, my goal is to achieve a richness of color and depth.
