About the Artist
As a silversmith, Margery Cooper's work has been greatly influenced by the endless wealth of Jewish history and tradition. She incorporates weight and texture into her silver pieces so that each creation can be felt physically as well as emotionally... Timeless pieces that can be passed from generation to generation.
Although her work has appeared in numerous juried exhibits, she works primarily by commission so that each piece is created with the receiver in mind.
Margery has been working in silver for over
twenty-five years and is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Goldsmiths.
She served on their board as editor for seven years. She is also a
member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths.
